Sewickley Car Store is pleased to be sponsoring our neighbor, Jeremy Cornman, in his participation in the Ironman- Triathlon in Hawaii on October 10. The Ironman- Triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bicycle ride, and 26.2 mile run. Although this is his first Ironman competition, he has participated in four other triathlons. His most recent event was at Lake Placid, NY where he crossed the finish line in 9 hours, 58 minutes, 51 seconds. Cornman works full time at National Rehab, a medical supply company in Moon Twp- in addition to his 16 to 20 hour training program. One of his biggest concerns is the 80 to 90 degree weather in Hawaii in October. Although he does not expect to come in first place, he has set other goals for himself; “First and foremost, I want to make sure I complete the race and be happy with my efforts… More specifically, I’d like to go under 10 hours in those conditions.” Sewickley Car Store sends our best wishes for Jeremy Cornman as he fulfills his goal!
